Apple Pie

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup apple juice
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 4 tbsp light butter at room temperature
• 4 Del Monte® granny smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced
• 2 tbsp cornstarch
• 2 ready-made piecrusts
• 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation:

1)Preheat oven to 180 degrees. 2)Combine apple juice, sugar, and butter in bowl. Add apples and cornstarch. Place one pie crust in a 9" pie pan and fill with mixture. 3)Slice the second pie crust into eight inch thick strips and drape over filled pie shell in crisscross pattern; pinch edges to attach to bottom crust. 4)Bake 55 minutes or until golden brown. 5)Sprinkle top with cinnamon.
